Easter Sunday Videos

The goal of my latest video project is to show people a snapshot of life as a follower of Jesus. What is prayer? What is grace? How are relationships impacted by the gospel? How is God’s Word constantly changing my thinking? Growth is a process; the Christian life is one of constant repentance and perseverance. I hoped to convey these ideas in the videos. My subjects are real people from my church community and more importantly, they are friends. I’m happy to be able to tell their stories.

Edward R. Murrow on the medium of television, in a 1958 speech:

This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires and lights in a box. There is a great and perhaps decisive battle to be fought against ignorance, intolerance and indifference. This weapon of television could be useful.

How is the battle going in this day and age?

FREE eBook: Every Tweet Reveals a Heap

I’m happy to announce the launch of our first ebook, Every Tweet Reveals a Heap, a children’s story authored by yours truly and illustrated by my talented wife Megan Leong. It seems like a really long time ago when I wrote this story. However at Christmas time Megan surprised me by illustrating the characters of ETRAH, arranging and photographing them in really neat ways. I can’t be more pleased with the results. We’re offering everyone a PDF download of our ebook! It’s FREE with a twist; we’re asking you to “pay with a tweet.” That’s right, we intend to use Twitter to publicize a story about Twitter.
