1. Advent Conspiracy. I don’t know if I’m brave enough to be a part of this conspiracy. “What was once a time to celebrate the birth of a savior has somehow turned into a season of stress, traffic jams, and shopping lists...” Want to be a co-conspirator? Will you share your strength?

2. Sermon: God at the Movies-Juno. My friend Jason Allen delivered a rocking message at LifeConnection Church. Makes one wonder: how many times did he watch Juno?

3. A Bruce Lee animation.

Genius Products

Here are some things that made me exclaim inwardly: “Genius!”

1. Stuff Christians Like, lampooning Christian sub-culture… from the inside. Check out #376 and #373.

2. The Portal video game. To see an example of its unique game-play, click here.

3. The whole idea of CommonCraft. Their products are so plain and simple—it even made Twitter seem slightly attractive.

Singalong
Download Phil Wickham’s excellent acoustic album, Singalong. You won’t regret it. (It’s free if you sign up for his emails). My favorite songs now are “Beautiful” and “True Love.” Who is this dude? Why haven’t I heard of him before? Get the album now.

I’m a Vimean! (if that means just registering an account at Vimeo.com)… To be a true Vimean I’ve to have some cool, artsy, original videos on there. But the site looks much better than YouTube, it supports HD, and there’s no porn, and it’s family friendly. Check it out.

Disposable Film Festival
Anyone can be a filmmaker nowadays. We’re the “disposable film” generation. Make an artsy video with your digital camera, iPhone, laptop, whatever! Great concept they have going on. Watch some examples.

Mars Hill Seattle comes up with such creative, compelling content. Here they’ve interspersed ultimate-fighting tips with spiritual battle advice. What’s not to like?

2. “Earth From Above” by Photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

The Big Picture section on Boston.com is so consistently good that I decided to subscribe to the RSS feed.

My Perfect Spotless Righteousness

The past few months I managed to make it onto Meg’s blog more than 3 times–an awesome achievement! (considering that we’re both far from being dedicated daily bloggers). What’s more, it seems that I’ve even got my own category! I’ve the honor of being in the following posts:

  1. Flowers from my sweetie…
  2. if we were M&M’s…
  3. Megan Anne Mathews, will you marry me?

I love that woman… Continue reading
