The goal of my latest video project is to show people a snapshot of life as a follower of Jesus. What is prayer? What is grace? How are relationships impacted by the gospel? How is God’s Word constantly changing my thinking? Growth is a process; the Christian life is one of constant repentance and perseverance. I hoped to convey these ideas in the videos. My subjects are real people from my church community and more importantly, they are friends. I’m happy to be able to tell their stories.

Visually, I drew inspiration from The Story of Keep Calm and Carry On, an elegant and simple video. I thought I could realistically pull it off with my basic setup. Can you spot the similarities? I made production mistakes too, of course. Some clips suffered from lack of light, causing noise in the darks. This problem was especially evident in the second video. But it was a great learning experience.
