The past few months I managed to make it onto Meg’s blog more than 3 times–an awesome achievement! (considering that we’re both far from being dedicated daily bloggers). What’s more, it seems that I’ve even got my own category! I’ve the honor of being in the following posts:
I love that woman… She’s the best. She knows my many flaws and still she loves. All of today I hummed and meditated on the words to the song “Before the Throne of God Above”–remembering again how terribly wicked I am. Compared to the standards laid out by God our creator, “terribly wicked” is hardly an exaggeration.
(Should I have omitted this personal denouncement? Worldly “wisdom” tells us: “believe in yourself, think positive thoughts, don’t ever let people know your flaws” and crap like that. I waffle a bit since this blog feeds into Facebook and you never know who may be reading. There are probably people reading write now who believe in that crap, but who cares? I care about what’s true…)
The truth is, King’s a difficult man to be with. And Meg is a one-of-a-kind companion. And God is a very good God. And through Jesus all things are possible.
